“This recognition is a tribute to the exceptional people who make Carleton a great place to work.”

On Nov. 17, Carleton was also recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and on Nov. 30, as a Top Employer for Canadians Over 40, both for the second consecutive year. These recognitions, in the company of other organizations of note, are exceptional honours and a point of pride.

“The judges noted that Carleton specifically stood out as a top employer for our pension plan, our policies around vacation and time off, as well as our Healthy Workplace initiative,” added Lorraine Dyke, Vice-President (Finance and Administration).

“Receiving this series of awards that recognize how we support our staff and faculty highlights why Carleton is a special community.”

The National Capital Region’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. It recognizes the employers in the Ottawa-Gatineau metropolitan area that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Comparable organizations are reviewed and evaluated to establish which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
