Carleton University is set to celebrate the academic achievements of the Class of 2023 as it honours over 5,200 graduates. The campus will come alive with excitement as a series of convocation ceremonies take place from June 12 to 16, 2023.

With a total of 15 ceremonies scheduled over the course of five days, Carleton will confer degrees upon a diverse group of students, recognizing their remarkable resilience and unwavering dedication to education. Each ceremony will serve as a tribute to the students’ unique academic journeys, encompassing not only their coursework but also their co-curricular experiences and their involvement in various social, political, or charitable pursuits.

In addition to celebrating the graduates, Carleton will bestow honorary degrees upon seven distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and to Canadian society as a whole. These recipients have demonstrated exemplary achievements, serving as role models and inspirations to the graduating class.

The convocation celebrations are an opportunity for the entire campus community to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2023. It is a time to recognize the hard work, dedication, and growth of these graduates as they embark on new chapters in their lives, equipped with the knowledge and experiences gained during their time at Carleton.
