Biography
Lucy Campbell is an Applied Mathematician in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton. Her research interests are in differential equations and numerical analysis with applications in geophysical fluid dynamics.
She uses mathematical and computational methods to study the waves that occur in the atmosphere and affect weather and climate. She teaches a variety of mathematics courses at different levels, including calculus and differential equations.
