Lee has appeared multiple times before the House of Commons finance and Senate banking committees. He has been in every Government of Canada budget lockup since 2008. He attended pre-budget consultations with the Minister of Finance in 2009 and 2011.
He appears regularly on CBC’s Power and Politics in the On the Money segment with Jim Stanford.
He was employed in the financial services sector as a loan manager in consumer, mortgage and commercial credit for an American multinational and subsequently for the Bank of Montreal in the 1970s and early 1980s.

In January 2007, Pomeroy was appointed as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre on Governance and in 2012 he became a Research Associate with the Carleton University Centre for Urban Research and Education (CURE). Pomeroy teaches a course on the Fundamentals of Housing Policy and Governance. In 2013, he was awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition for his contributions to housing policy and research.

Kennelly’s research interests include youth cultures, citizenship, democracy, social inclusion and exclusion, globalization/neoliberalism, social movements, urban sociology and education. She has also conducted research on urban low-income young people’s subcultural responses to such contemporary phenomenon as education and welfare retrenchment, ghettoization of the urban poor, and emergent forms of youth citizenship. She is currently conducting research on youth homelessness.
