Carleton University will host its fifth annual Giving Tuesday campaign this year on Nov. 28, 2017 – a day devoted to giving back.

This year the university hopes to raise $250,000 in 24 hours for projects, people and ideas that advance research and build Carleton’s capacity to serve the community at home and abroad. All donations made online at futurefunder.ca will be matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $2,000) until the goal of $250, 000 is met.

Supporters can visit Carleton’s crowdfunding platform at futurefunder.ca to choose one of more than 1000 projects and causes—from engineering students’ technology projects to support for student athletes to a project to support Blue the therapy dog, an innovative approach to positive mental health on campus.

Projects will be on display at an on-campus event on Giving Tuesday.

When: Nov. 28, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
