Carleton University is celebrating its 75th anniversary and everyone is invited! Join the Carleton community for a day of entertainment, great food and Carleton pride.

When: Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Parking lot 5, Athletics Centre, Carleton University

Attendees can take a ride on the 50-foot Ferris wheel, complete an inflatable obstacle course or delight in some traditional carnival fare and numerous performances, including the always-popular Chemistry Magic Show.

The birthday bash coincides with the homecoming football game, where the Ravens will take on Waterloo at MNP Park.

Birthday Bash events include:

Chemistry Magic Hands-on Interactive Demo

When: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Guests will have a chance to make ice cream with liquid nitrogen and see some of the demonstrations up close.

Chemistry Magic Show

When: 11 a.m. to noon

This one hour show features explosions, spontaneous combustions and the inner workings of fireworks and plastics.

Official Cake Cutting

When: Noon

Ravens Rhythm Performance

When: 12:30 p.m.

Get ready for the Carleton – Waterloo football game with a performance by the Ravens Rhythm cheer team.
