Carleton University is officially closed on Monday, Sept. 4.
However, some facilities continue to operate throughout the Labour Day long weekend including the MacOdrum Library, the Fitness Centre and more.

Additional Notices
Residence move-in weekend will take place on Sept. 2 and 3. Please take note of the following information:
- The Colonel By Drive entrance to campus will be closed: The National Capital Commission has Colonel By Drive closed for a triathlon event on Saturday, Sept. 2 and for Bike Days on Sunday, Sept. 3. The only access onto campus will be at Bronson Avenue.
- A one-way traffic plan will be in place: Over the weekend, all traffic—except from Bronson Avenue to Raven Road—will be following a one-way traffic pattern. Safety officers will be on hand to manage vehicles.
- OC Transpo and O-Train: Buses coming onto campus will use an alternative route during move-in weekend and will only pick up passengers at the Athletics bus stop. The O-Train will operate on its regular weekend schedule.
- Faculty/Staff/Visitors: Faculty, staff and visitors coming to campus over the move-in weekend are encouraged to park in Parking Lot 9 (the Robertson Hall Parking Garage) and walk to their destination as there will be increased traffic congestion across campus.
