Carleton University will host a screening of the film Dream, Girl with producer Komal Minhas (BJ/12) and director Erin Bagwell. A moderated discussion, as well as an audience question and answer session with Minhas, will follow the screening.

When: Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Minhas returns to Carleton to share the film she co-produced with Bagwell to tell stories of inspiring female entrepreneurs. The documentary made its debut at the White House in May 2016.

This event is sponsored by Manulife Financial, Carleton’s School of Journalism and Communication, the Faculty of Public Affairs and the Carleton Activity Board of the Student Experience Office.

About Komal Minhas

Minhas is a graduate of the Carleton School of Journalism and Communication and is the founder of KoMedia, a multi-media storytelling company.

Minhas has been included in the Supersoul 100 list, an Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) initiative that celebrates leaders in various fields working to improve our world. Minhas was named as a 2012 “Global Shaper” as part of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers network. The nomination recognized her role as a key change-maker in the Ottawa community.
