The By Youth For Youth benefit concert, showcasing local award-winning young musicians and performers from Carleton and beyond, will take place at the university’s Kailash Mital Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015. The event will feature special guest performances by NACO bassist Marjolaine Fournier and erhu virtuoso Patty Chan, and will be emceed by the CBC’s Laurence Wall and the Manhattan School of Music’s Silvie Cheng.

All proceeds from the concert will go to the Snowsuit Fund of Ottawa and United Way Ottawa. This event is being co-hosted by the Ottawa Association of Chinese-Canadian University Alumni and the Carleton University Chinese Students’ Association
