The basis of Little’s book came from his time teaching at Carleton. Using new scientific research, Little talks about the complex delights of human personality and how it affects our personal and professional lives.
Little explores questions of disposition and temperament, such as:
- Is our character set by age 30?
- When do we act strategically disagreeable?
- What is a restorative niche?
- How can a free trait agreement improve your relationships?
Today, Little is a distinguished research professor emeritus at Carleton and a lecturer at Cambridge University and he has been featured at TEDx Oxbridge. He is a leader in the field of personality and motivational psychology and lectures around the world.
The Ottawa Leadership Luncheon is hosted twice annually by the Carleton University Alumni Association to bring contemporary topics of interest from faculty and alumni to the community.
