Laura Storey is joining Carleton University as the new director of Housing and Residence Life.
Laura comes to Carleton from Trent University, where she spent more than a decade in their housing office in a variety of roles, most recently as the director of Housing Services.
She has a proven track record of providing leadership, developing student engagement initiatives, encouraging learning and development, as well as working to provide students with the best possible experience in residence. Her experience will be a tremendous asset to Carleton and the Residence Life program.
Laura has an undergraduate degree from Trent University, as well as a master’s in education from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is replacing Dave Sterritt, who retired in August after 43 years at Carleton.
