Carleton University will be closed for the Family Day statutory holiday on Monday, Feb. 20. The university will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
These dates coincide with the start of winter break running from Monday, Feb. 20 to Friday, Feb. 24. There are no classes during this week and the normal academic schedule resumes on Monday, Feb. 27.
Please take note of the following hours of operation at Carleton on Family Day and throughout winter break.
Dining Services
All Dining Services locations other except for the caf (open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.) will be closed on Family Day, Feb. 20.
Over the winter break, University Centre Starbucks, University Centre Tim Hortons, Loeb Café, and Oasis will all remain closed. Other locations have adjusted their hours, as listed below.
The Caf
Feb. 21 to 26: 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Food Court
Feb. 21 to 24: open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Feb. 25 & 26: closed.
Starbucks Page Break
Feb. 21: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Feb. 22: closed
Feb. 23 & 24: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Feb. 25: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Feb. 26: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Starbucks Residence Commons

Feb. 26: 10 a.m. to midnight

Carleton Athletics Facilities
Carleton Athletics’ facilities will be open on Family Day, Feb. 20, with adjusted hours, as listed below.
Fitness Centre: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pool: 1:30 to 4 p.m. (public swim)
Ice House: 6 a.m. to midnight (rentals)
