Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 honoured in 40 ceremonies from June 13–24

Carleton University will host its largest convocation ever — the first in-person convocation since the onset of the pandemic — and seven honorary degrees will be awarded as part of the celebrations.

“Convocation is always a highlight, but this year will be particularly emotional and exciting,” said Carleton’s President and Vice-Chancellor Benoit-Antoine Bacon. “I am so pleased that all graduates from the outstanding classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 will have the opportunity to cross the stage and that we will all be together to celebrate their remarkable success.

“These graduates have demonstrated tremendous flexibility and grit, and what they have learned along the way, about life and about themselves, will help them overcome any further challenges they will face in the future.”

Convocation ceremonies for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 will be held June 13–17. Convocation ceremonies for the Class of 2022 will be held June 20–24, 2022. Full schedules available at https://convocation.carleton.ca/

Media are invited to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast online via live streaming at https://convocation.carleton.ca/live/.
