Carleton University is officially closed Friday, April 2, 2021 through Sunday, April 4, 2021, inclusive. The university will reopen on Monday, April 5, 2021.

The Province of Ontario will move into the shutdown zone of public health measures for 28 days beginning Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. At Carleton, all employees are expected to continue to work remotely unless they are required to be on campus to perform work that is necessary to maintain business operations.

Additionally, Carleton is implementing the following measures, which will extend over the Easter weekend:

  • The closure of all Athletics facilities until further notice.
  • The closure of the MacOdrum Library building to students and faculty until further notice. Online services and curbside pickup will remain available.
  • The Bookstore will have its in-store capacity reduced, and curbside pickup will continue to be an option for patrons.
  • Campus Card and U-Pass services will be available at reduced hours of operation.
  • The suspension of all in-person Carleton conferences, events and activities until further notice.
  • All on-campus dining locations will operate as takeout only. Learn more about the Easter weekend hours at other dining facilities here.
  • Residence will remain open with increased mitigation measures. Students living in residence will receive a separate email with additional information.
