To All Members of the Carleton Community,
Earlier today, the Government of Ontario, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced that COVID-19 vaccination policies will be mandatory in higher-risk settings, including post-secondary institutions. Further, the Government has paused the province’s exit from the Roadmap to Reopen, and current Step 3 restrictions therefore remain in effect.
No changes to the return to campus plans we have put in place and to our recently announced vaccination requirements are needed at this time. We are continuing to monitor Ontario’s reopening plans and will adjust our plans as required by evolving regulations and public health advice.
As we prepare to welcome phase 3 units back to campus on Monday, more details regarding how to access campus including how to use the new cuScreen screening system will be provided later this week.
