Deaville is available to discuss disability and access in terms of music.

Deaville was recently awarded a government grant for $100,000 for the research project “Sounds of Body: Muteness, Music, and Eugenics in Screen Representation.” As part of the grant, he will be supporting student research, workshops, and a web presence, all in the area of music, disability, and screen media.

Boris Vukovic
Director, Research, Education, Accessibility and Design (READ) Initiative


Vukovic is interested in speaking about accessibility as an emerging field, nonvisible disabilities, and Carleton’s leadership in accessibility locally and nationally with the READ program as a great example of a leadership initiative.
