Carleton University is officially closed on Monday, Sept. 2. However, some facilities continue to operate throughout the Labour Day long weekend including MacOdrum Library, select Dining Services locations and Athletics.

If you will be on campus this weekend, please note:

  • Residence Move-In Weekend takes place on Saturday and Sunday. There will be an influx of traffic near the residence precinct on Campus Avenue and Library Road. To accommodate move-in activities, OC Transpo buses will enter campus from Bronson Avenue, turn left onto University Drive, loop around the CTTC Building and exit to Bronson Avenue via University Drive. For more information about OC Transpo’s fall schedule, click here.
  • Campus Avenue is now a one-way street (southbound) and Library Road reopened to two-way traffic between Campus Avenue and the Mackenzie Building.
  • On Saturday, Aug. 31, Colonel By Drive (between Hog’s Back Road and Clegg Street) will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a sporting event.
  • On Sunday, Sept. 1, Colonel By Drive will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for weekly Sunday Bike Day activities. As well, Carleton University will host a football game at 7:30 p.m. Visitors attending the game will be directed to use parking lots 5 and 9.
