It’s varsity championship season for a number of sports and Carleton has two teams vying for top national spots this year.

Mens’s Basketball

Fresh off an OUA Wilson Cup victory against the Ryerson Rams, the Carleton Ravens Men’s Basketball team is heading to the U Sports Final 8 in Halifax, Nova Scotia in hopes of winning the W.P. McGee Trophy for a record 14th time.

They’ll tip off against the University of Alberta Golden Bears in the quarter-final on on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 6 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST), 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Update 1: After defeating the University of Alberta Golden Bears 100-60 in their quarter-final match, the Ravens will take on the Dalhousie Tigers in Saturday’s semi-final at 5 p.m. EST on Sportsnet 360, Sportsnet Now and TVA Sports.

Update 2: After defeating the Dalhousie University Tigers 76-65 in the semi-final game,  the Men’s Ravens will compete against the University of Calgary Dinos in Sunday’s national championship game at 5 p.m. EST on Sportsnet 360, Sportsnet Now and TVA Sports.

Men’s Hockey

The Ravens Men’s Hockey team hosts the OUA Bronze medal game against the Western University Mustangs on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 7 p.m. EST at the Carleton University Ice House.

Update: After defeating the Western University Mustangs 3-0 and winning the OUA Bronze medal, the Ravens will compete at the U Sports championships from March 14 to 17, 2019 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
