The panelists will draw upon their deep expertise as respected political journalists and commentators, discussing key ridings, polls, political strategy, leaders debates and information sources.

Media are invited to attend the event and are asked to register in advance by contacting CarletonRSVP@gmail.com.

When: Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, remarks begin at 4:15 p.m.
Where: Second floor conference rooms and atrium, Richcraft Hall, Carleton
Info: A campus map can be found online.

The event will feature a presentation by alumnus David Coletto, chief executive officer of Abacus Data. An expert on generational changes and millennials, Coletto will make a short presentation on polling results and trends of the federal election.

The expert panel will be comprised of Joël-Denis Bellavance, award-winning reporter and Ottawa bureau chief for La Presse; Heather Scoffield, economics columnist for the Toronto Star; and Prof. Christopher Waddell, former director of Carleton’s School of Journalism and Communication. Maureen Boyd, director of the Carleton Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement, will moderate and Carleton President Benoit-Antione Bacon will provide remarks.
