As part of Carleton University’s Science Café series, Professor Emeritus John ApSimon of the Department of Chemistry will present A Retrospective Look at the Power of Natural Products: 50 Years of Chemical Dabbling and Some Stories.

For several decades, ApSimon has been involved in the chemistry of natural products – from forest and plant products and marine chemistry to fungal compounds.

In this lecture, ApSimon will discuss how his experiences endured through the years and remain useful in this field of research.
