Raggo teaches in the Master of Philanthropy and Non-profit Leadership program – the first program of its kind in Canada. Her research interests include international non-profit leadership, organizational accountability and global philanthropy. Raggo’s current work includes a project that analyzes the accountability views of 152 executive leaders of international NGOs and non-profits. Raggo has taught courses on the globalization of philanthropy; philanthropy and non-profit research methods; and a capstone community partner seminar.

Phillips’ research focuses on public policy and regulation of philanthropy and the non-profit sector, financing of charities and non-profits, cross-sectoral collaboration, community foundations and place-based philanthropy. She has taught courses on policy and the legal environment for philanthropy and civil society, as well as program evaluation for philanthropy and non-profits
