Carleton University’s Canada-India Acceleration Program (CIAP) will host 10 women tech entrepreneurs from India as they participate in a transnational entrepreneurship boot camp. The event will feature remarks by MPP Merrilee Fullerton, minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Led by Carleton’s Canada-India Centre for Excellence, the CIAP aims to assist women-led technology startups from Canada and India expand into each other’s markets.

When: Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Second Floor, Bayview Yards Innovation Centre, 7 Bayview Road, Ottawa

The objective of the 10-day boot camp is to strengthen participants’ capabilities to operate their startups in Canada and India. The entrepreneurs will prepare action plans to launch and grow their venture’s revenue to $1 million a year within three years.
