The popular Biology Butterfly Show, an annual event hosted by Carleton University’s Department of Biology, returns this fall. The nine-day show features 1,300 exotic butterflies representing 41 different species from across the world.

Some butterflies love to land on colourful clothing, others will climb onto an outstretched hand. Everyone is invited to visit Carleton’s greenhouses.

There will be an advance media day on Friday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a pre-show event open to media and invited guests from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Representatives from Carleton University Biology Society and
Let’s Talk Science will be on hand at the pre-show to answer questions.
