Carleton University’s Faculty of Public Affairs (FPA) will host the one-day conference Visions for Equality: Imagining a world that challenges inequality and celebrates diversity. Inspired by the success of the 2017 conference, Visions for Canada 2042, the conference will feature interdisciplinary expert panel discussions.
When: Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

- Equality in Our World: Global or International Approaches?
- Building Equity or Inequality? International Development in Theory, Practice and Education
- The Shadow Side of Equality
FPA is home to a robust community of researchers who are internationally known and recognized in their fields. Please join in this discussion on one of our society’s most pressing issues.
This event is part of FPA Research Month (#FPAResearch) which celebrates the breadth of research produced in FPA while bringing together graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty and community members to explore a broad range of societal issues.
