Peter Mansbridge will be delivering the keynote address Sound Reporting in a Disquieted World at Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) Benefit Soirée. The annual student-organized soirée raises awareness of key global concerns while providing an opportunity for attendees to make a difference by supporting charity initiatives.

Mansbridge served as the chief correspondent of CBC News, helmed its flagship show The National, anchored all CBC News specials and hosted the interview program Mansbridge: One on One. He has provided comprehensive coverage of the most significant stories in Canada and around the world. Mansbridge has received more than a dozen national awards for excellence in broadcast journalism.

First-year NPSIA master’s students have organized the annual soirée for more than 20 years. This year’s proceeds will be donated to the Ottawa Food Bank.
