Carleton University’s research-intensive Faculty of Engineering and Design will host the 2017 Ontario Engineering Competition. The three-day event will bring together more than 300 of Ontario’s brightest engineering students from 16 universities.

Competitors will participate in one of seven disciplines – junior design, senior design, consulting, debate, communications, innovative design and programming. All participating engineering students have advanced from previous competitions at their local universities.
The winners of the competition advance to represent Ontario at the Canadian Engineering Competition in March.
Carleton University will be hosting the competition during its 75th anniversary celebrations and Canada’s 150th.
