Carleton’s Canada-India Centre Honours Prominent Indo-Canadians

Carleton University’s Canada-India Centre for Excellence in Science, Technology, Trade and Policy will host the release of a new book listing prominent Indo-Canadians and friends of India who are dedicated to forging close ties between the two countries on Feb. 4, 2016.

When: Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at 4 p.m.
Where: Residence Commons, Main Conference Room, Carleton University

This year’s list of 50 prominent Indo-Canadians compiled by journalist Ajit Jain, features profiles of federal cabinet ministers Navdeep Bains, Bardish Chagger, Harjit Singh Sajjan and Amarjeet Sohi, as well as business leaders like Prem Watsa, president of Fairfax Holdings, and Paviter Binning, president of the George Weston Group.

Carleton President Roseann O’Reilly Runte and Dilip Soman, behavioral economist from the University of Toronto will make opening remarks.
