Carleton’s Katherine Arnup to Launch New Book on Caring for Elderly Parents

Carleton University’s Katherine Arnup, retired associate professor of Canadian Studies, will be launching her new book, “I don’t have time for this!” A Compassionate Guide to Caring for Your Parents and Yourself, on Sunday, May 3, 2015.

When: Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Where: Patty’s Pub, 1186 Bank Street (at Ossington)
Note: Arnup will also be appearing to sign books before and after the Hike for Hospice, May 3, 2015 starting at 9 a.m.

Arnup’s latest book provides a roadmap for the journey into aging, illness and dying that all individuals and the people they love experience. With gentle persuasion coupled with moving stories from her family, her clients and her years as a hospice volunteer, Arnup demonstrates how to overcome the fear of aging and loss, so that people can be prepared for the challenges in their lives.
