Carleton University host venue for Ottawa 2017 Videogame Competition and Expo

Carleton University is proud to host the first two events of Ottawa 2017’s Canadian Video Game Competition and Expo –  with an outdoor gaming competition, as part of Carleton’s 75th anniversary celebrations and Canada’s 150th.

Video games will be projected onto a courtyard wall of Carleton’s Mackenzie Building. The event will feature the new Super Mario Odyssey game. The top three scorers on each night will win great prizes such as VIA Rail passes and Roots gift cards.

When: Monday, Nov. 13 and Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017
5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. each night.

Sign-up starts at 5:00 p.m.
Expo showcase from local companies is 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Competition is 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Players will be protected from the weather under tents and there will be the chance to play various other games on consoles.
