Frances Abele Participate in Institute for Research on Public Policy’s Workshop on the Indian Act

Frances Abele, professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University and academic director of the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation, was a panelist during a workshop called Understanding the Indian Act on Friday, April 28, 2017. The panel event sought to answer questions and build knowledge of the 141-year-old act while discussing the possibility of replacing it in order to better support a nation-to-nation relationship.

The event was held by the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP), in partnership with Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication and the School of Public Policy and Administration in the Faculty of Public Affairs.
