Evans teaches undergraduate courses related to contemporary German and European history. She has expertise in the history of contemporary Germany, as well as transnational histories of sexuality, social memory and visual culture. As part of the New Fascist Syllabus Project, Evans curates the research blog thehistoryinquestion.com, in partnership with Elizabeth Heineman (University of Iowa).

Evans’ forthcoming publications include Holocaust Memory in the Digital Mediascape, co-written with Erica Fagen and Meghan Lundrigan.
