Carleton Presents 2016 Dhahan Lecture with Shekhar Gupta

Carleton’s Canada-India Centre for Excellence will present the 2016 Dhahan Lecture Understanding India in Transition with guest speaker Shekhar Gupta.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, registration at 5:30 p.m., lecture at 6 p.m., reception to follow

About Shekhar Gupta

Gupta is a founder and editor-in-chief of ThePrint, a prolific columnist with the highly influential National Interest, and a senior prime-time anchor at NDTV – India’s leading English news channel. As the host of both NDTV’s Off the Cuff and Walk the Talk, Shekhar has interviewed numerous eminent guests.

His nearly four-decade career in journalism has included reporting on key Indian and international events and has been recognized with numerous awards. Shekar has previously worked as the editor-in-chief of Indian Express and the Express group of publications, as well as editor of India Today.
