This fall marks a new phase in the evolution of the Faculty of Public Affairs at Carleton University.
Come and spend the evening with faculty, students and alumni in our brand new facility, the River Building, on the evening of Sept. 5, 2012.
Allan Gregg, senior research professional, TVO talk show host and newly appointed adjunct professor at Carleton, will give an engaging talk entitled Nineteen Eighty-Four in 2012: The Assault on Reason.
A panel discussion will follow, moderated by:
Susan Harada, professor in the School of Journalism and Communication and former broadcast journalist with CBC News.
Panelists include:
- Bill Cross, Bell Chair in Canadian Parliamentary Democracy in the Department of Political Science
- Steve Saideman, Paterson Chair in the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs
- Susan Phillips, Director of the School of Public Policy and Administration
