Mario Santana has been presented with the 2012 Tartessos Award in Virtual Archaeology for his leadership as president of the International Scientific Committee for Documentation of Cultural Heritage (CIPA). The award was given by the Spanish Society of Virtual Archaeology (SEAV) at ARQUEOLÓGICA 2.0, the Fourth International Meeting on Archaeology and Graphic Informatics, Cultural Heritage and Innovation. The conference took place in San José de La Rinconada, Spain earlier this week.
