Carleton’s School of Canadian Studies is hosting a conference entitled “Where is Quebec in Canadian Studies?’’ from Monday, May 21 to Wednesday, May 23. Media are welcome to attend this event, which will bring together Canadian and international scholars to ask questions about Quebec’s place within Canada, and the relationship between Quebec Studies and Canadian Studies.
Presentations will address issues of identity, federalism, and culture, as well as questions relating to the disciplines of Canadian and Quebec Studies.
A keynote address by François Rocher from the University of Ottawa will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 in Dunton Tower, Room 2203, Carleton University.
