Carleton Hosts Outdoor Chemistry Magic Show

Carleton University’s Chemistry Department is hosting its first-ever outdoor Chemistry Magic Show at night.

Light Up the Night with Chemistry in the Dark is part of Science Rendezvous, a national one-day celebration of science.

This free one-hour show features fun targeted at ages eight and up, with explosions, a look at the inner workings of fireworks, spontaneous combustions and things that glow in the dark. This promises to be our biggest, wildest show ever! It’s so epic that we can’t do it indoors!

We will also have hands-on activities before the show, so feel free to come and get your hands dirty!

When:
Saturday, May 12
Chemistry Magic Show: 8:30 p.m.
Activities: Start at 7:30 p.m.

Where:
