Join the Gaming Revolution: Carleton hosts Global Game Jam in Ottawa

The Carleton School of Information Technology is hosting its third annual weekend-long Global Game Jam.

The Global Game Jam will see artists, programmers and designers come together to make video games within 48 hours in a global competition. The teams compete simultaneously at more than 170 locations in 44 countries.

Participation is free. Computers with common programming and multimedia software and Internet access will be provided. There will also be access to a rest area and cafeteria. Some meals will be provided.

Global Game Jam – Friday, Jan. 28, 5 p.m. to Sunday, Jan. 30, 5 p.m.

Registration begins at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Location:
The Global Game Jam will take place in Room 236, Azreili Pavilion at Carleton University.
