Explore the world of science as Carleton University’s department of chemistry returns with its popular chemistry magic show. 

Learn interesting cooking methods, including how to turn sugar into carbon, making  a pickle glow and turning lettuce into dust, plus reactions that can tell time, spontaneous combustion reactions, why flour mills can explode and things that go boom. 

When:
Friday, October 10, 2008, 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 11, 2008, 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Where:
Theatre B, Southam Hall, Carleton University

Additional information:
Free parking is available in nearby lots P1 and P2.
Seating is limited to the first 300 people at each show.
